Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on dedicated long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, adhering to all handling protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the truck remains clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety, defensive driving, and traffic laws.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
