Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) over long distances in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and safety.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
