Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and legally on long-haul routes.
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and daily logbooks accurately.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and physical exam on file.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and handle the demands of the road.
