Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment to ensure 100% security.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready and compliant with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery and route adjustments.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
- Professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to travel and ability to work independently without supervision.
