Responsibilities
- Operate modern tractor-trailers on dedicated Southern California route (San Diego to Bay Area)
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Utilize electronic logging system for compliance tracking
- Represent Elite Logistics with professional conduct at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California highway systems
- Basic electronic device proficiency for logging systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- No-fault accident-free driving record
