Responsibilities
- Operate personal box truck for time-sensitive freight delivery within 200-mile radius
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation via mobile app
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes using provided GPS software to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate directly with warehouse teams for streamlined loading/unloading
- Manage client communications regarding delivery status and exceptions
- Submit digital invoices and expense reports through our portal
- Participate in quarterly performance reviews for bonus qualification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or flatbed experience
- DOT-compliant box truck (2015 or newer, under 26,000 lbs GVWR)
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and operate pallet jack
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reside within 50 miles of Anaheim
