Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely on job sites and public roads
- Load/unload construction materials (dirt, asphalt, gravel)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all DOT and safety regulations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members
- Perform minor equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver’s License required
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for load calculations
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- No DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
- Reliable transportation to training site
