Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and fuel-efficient manner.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while providing exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and FMCSA regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside troubleshooting.
