Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for dedicated regional routes within Texas
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and performance feedback
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong safety record and commitment to defensive driving
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
