Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and logistics teams
- Perform routine vehicle checks and preventative maintenance
- Manage loading/unloading operations efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas roadways
- Flexible schedule with overnight travel capability
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
