Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs and HOS compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Document all freight handling exceptions and delivery confirmations
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build long-term relationships with key facility contacts
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Experience with temperature-controlled freight preferred
- Willingness to stay out 4-5 nights per week
