Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes with 95% no-touch freight
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations during all transit operations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and submit accurate maintenance reports
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and ensure DOT compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Deliver freight to distribution centers with on-time performance exceeding 98%
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Pass company background check and drug screening
- Ability to operate 53' dry van trailers with manual transmission
- Proficient in ELD systems and basic navigation technology
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Physical ability to climb, bend, and secure cargo straps
- Willingness to operate in all weather conditions
