Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse teams
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Reliable box truck (26-28ft) in good mechanical condition
- Ability to pass background check and random drug tests
- Strong knowledge of Alaska road conditions and winter driving
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Professional communication and time management skills
