Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes between Baltimore and major East Coast hubs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at distribution centers
- Utilize electronic logging systems for compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with hazmat tanker endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of East Coast geography and regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
