Responsibilities
- • Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- • Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- • Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement
- • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- • Keep accurate transportation records
- • Ensure proper child loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- • Valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- • Minimum 2 years driving experience
- • Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- • Texas School Bus Driver Certification
- • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- • Excellent communication and patience with children
