Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck on dedicated routes between Fort Worth and major distribution centers
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Maintain clean and organized truck cab to company standards
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Report maintenance issues promptly to prevent downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight stays (1-3 nights per week)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Pass DOT physical examination
