Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on dedicated OTR routes.
- Deliver cargo to designated locations within strict time windows.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Ensure cargo is loaded and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices.
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
