Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain DOT compliance through accurate logging and documentation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and schedule adherence
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Manage delivery timelines while prioritizing cargo integrity
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no DUI/DWI in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Michigan/Ohio regional roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (2-3 nights/month)
