Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Complete accurate daily trip logs and incident reports
- Participate in quarterly safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening
- Child safety certification preferred (training provided)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work early morning/afternoon shifts
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Background clearance through FBI fingerprinting
