Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, dirt) across job sites
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Operate specialized loading equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, excavators) as needed
- Document delivery receipts and resolve material discrepancies
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Knowledge of Minneapolis metro area traffic patterns
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
