Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous delivery logs
- Coordinate loading/unloading at distribution centers and client sites
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate shipment status via telematics and dispatch systems
- Represent the company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong route navigation skills across Florida metro areas
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 30 miles of St. Petersburg
