Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers on assigned dedicated routes in and out of the Atlanta metro area and beyond.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary shipping documentation.
- Load and secure cargo safely to prevent damage and ensure road safety.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience within the last 5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of interstate traffic laws and cargo securement procedures.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to safety and customer service.
