Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided tractors and specialized trailers across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal routing and delivery timing
- Ensure cargo security and temperature control (for refrigerated loads)
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (4-5 days/week)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (if required)
