Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned commercial vehicle (53' dry van/refrigerated) on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining optimal temperature for perishable cargo
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain shipment records
- Represent Elite Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and ELD compliance
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
