Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on dedicated routes between Bakersfield and major California distribution centers
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs using ELD systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route issues
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with tanker or dry van endorsement
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong communication skills and commitment to safety-first mentality
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and weekend deliveries
