Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul freight across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status and potential delays
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
