Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce school bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Maintain accurate trip logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and designated routes
- Assist students with boarding/exiting and special needs
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Passenger and air brake endorsements
- Clean driving record (max 2 points in 3 years)
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Child CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Fluent English communication skills
