Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes serving Washington, DC and surrounding regions
- Maintain flawless delivery records and on-time performance metrics
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and ensure FMCSA compliance
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization and client communications
- Document cargo handling and maintain electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Represent Capital Fleet Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Washington, DC metro area and East Coast logistics
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
