Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes from St. Louis to regional hubs
- Maintain meticulous delivery documentation and electronic logging compliance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure proper vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load transitions
- Represent Midwest Logistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
