Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on dedicated regional routes
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and proper documentation of vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to designated locations with exceptional timeliness and care
- Utilize advanced telematics systems for real-time route optimization and communication
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct at all customer sites
- Collaborate with dispatch team for proactive load planning and schedule adjustments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience with Class A CDL
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate freight handling equipment
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight travel
