Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage loading/unloading operations efficiently
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Reliable transportation to/from terminal
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must own or be willing to finance a box truck
