Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain assigned box truck in compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage efficient delivery routes across Northwest Ohio and Michigan
- Handle freight documentation and ensure secure cargo transport
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery schedules to meet flexible hour preferences
- Build client relationships through professional on-time service
- Utilize dispatch portal to track loads and maximize productivity
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable personal box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Toledo regional logistics networks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings/weekends
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
