Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box truck for regional deliveries within Florida and Southeastern states
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance department
- Utilize provided telematics system for real-time tracking and optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive maintenance
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD and communication apps
- Must reside within 50 miles of Orlando, FL
- Own basic hand tools for minor repairs
