Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight delivery in Central Valley corridor
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Optimize routes for efficiency using provided GPS navigation tools
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure proper cargo securing and temperature compliance for sensitive goods
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement (Class A preferred)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Own reliable box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
