Responsibilities
- Safely operate 53' dry van trailers on dedicated regional routes between Omaha and major Midwest markets
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Build strong customer relationships through professional on-time deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes while prioritizing safety
- Document all delivery paperwork accurately and submit daily reports
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with verifiable references
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required for all positions)
- Proficient in ELD systems and basic route navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management with proven on-delivery performance
- Flexible schedule including occasional overnight trips (home weekly)
- Must reside within 50 miles of Omaha for dedicated route coverage
