Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes with consistent home time
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining exceptional safety standards
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Utilize advanced GPS tracking systems for efficient route navigation
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for occasional overnight travel as needed
- Valid hazmat endorsement preferred
