Responsibilities
- Operate modern tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Washington, DC, and Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Accurately complete electronic logs, delivery documents, and safety checklists
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients throughout the journey
- Represent Capital Freight Solutions with exceptional customer service during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts and occasional weekends
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
