Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long distances (OTR).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity and damage prevention.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines and adhere to traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and handle onboard communication professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate commerce laws and road conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication purposes.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
