Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Manage pre-trip inspections, documentation, and cargo securement procedures
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and electronic logging systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or equipment issues
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock interactions and delivery confirmations
- Represent the company professionally in all client and public interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dry van or refrigerated trailers
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and basic navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle variable schedules, including overnight trips and weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
