Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial trucks in a safe, professional, and efficient manner in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Cargo Handling: Properly load, secure, and unload cargo to ensure safety during transit and prevent damage.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues and report them immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all required logs, manifests, and delivery paperwork.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while finding the most efficient paths to minimize delays.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with dispatch and customers.
