Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing techniques to ensure safety.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and maintain accurate logs (ELD).
- Navigate traffic and manage time management to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic, delays, and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screening Certification.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo manually when necessary.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
