Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Baltimore City
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service while adhering to traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and customer inquiries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Represent SwiftMove Logistics with professional appearance and courteous customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Smartphone with GPS capability and reliable internet connection
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore streets and metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Punctuality and reliability with consistent attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
