Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial destinations throughout San Diego.
- Ensure timely delivery by optimizing your route and adhering to strict schedules.
- Handle packages with the utmost care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Utilize mobile delivery apps to scan packages and update delivery statuses in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical integrity of your assigned vehicle.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures when required by delivery terms.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency in using smartphones and GPS navigation apps.
- Strong knowledge of the San Diego area and traffic patterns.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
