Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and time-sensitive materials across Portland metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify recipient identities and obtain proper signatures for high-value shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Portland streets and surrounding areas preferred
