Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies throughout Portland metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery time windows
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle confidential or high-value shipments with discretion
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and traffic patterns
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps
- Background check and drug screen required
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle
