Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure the correct handling of all sensitive packages.
- Observe all traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain a perfect driving record.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collect payments and obtain signatures when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery-related inquiries on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and using GPS navigation systems.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of New Orleans, LA.
