Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and time-sensitive deliveries across Los Angeles County
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain proper signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Deep knowledge of LA geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial driving experience preferred but not required
