Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations throughout Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency using GPS technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle special delivery requirements with precision and care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable personal vehicle (if using personal vehicle) or willingness to use company vehicle
