Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to designated locations within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control or fragile handling protocols
- Represent our brand through professional appearance and courteous client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class C) or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year professional driving or delivery experience
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach area and surrounding cities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with mobile technology and route optimization apps
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
