Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial destinations within the Arlington metro area.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain digital signatures, and ensure customer satisfaction at every stop.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness and mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and manage inventory within the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Access to a reliable smartphone with data connectivity for navigation and communication.
- Basic understanding of GPS navigation and map reading.
- Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation.
